"The
use of pulsed radio-frequency energy with the Energex system has proved to be
an invaluable addition to our practice here in the Allentown Pain Center.
While the use of injection therapy and iontophoresis has long been our chief
means of palliative therapy, these have specific limitations, indications, and
side effects not associated with the use of the Energex. While immediate
relief of joint pain is often noted, we have found that the recommended regimen
of three treatments per week for two weeks has resulted in significant pain
relief and increased range of motion. Many of the doctors who visit my
office for in-house courses are amazed at the patient response to Energex
therapy. I would highly recommend its use in both the general dental
office as well as in the practice of those who specifically treat joint
dysfunction and chronic pain."

"Patients
with TMD and facial pain demand not only an effective treatment that will
alleviate their pain or discomfort and restore functions but also the
utilization of adjunct therapy and procedures that are non-invasive and safe. I
have been using the Energex for about 1 year with excellent results. My
TMJ patients have reported a substantial alleviation of their pain and
particularly like the fact that it is a time-effective procedure. It
is definitely a must-have equipment in offices that provide treatment for
patients with TMJ conditions."

"I
have been very pleased with the effects the Energex has
had on our TMJ patients. The
device is a wonderful tool to have at hand with acute TMJ injuries and in
managing pain and hypomobility of the temporomandibular joint. The
modality has been of major benefit to many of our patients in pain reduction.
Many cases have responded with dramatic increases in mandibular range of
motion, most notably opening ranges without pain.
It can be easily integrated with other forms of treatment, such as manipulation and occlusal splints, in dealing with TM
joint disorders. I highly
recommend this system for the dental practitioner involved in TMD and
Craniofacial Pain management."

"Research
on the technology's effectiveness and safety has demonstrated it to be a useful
adjunctive therapy tool for quick pain relief and improved function of the TMJ
and associated muscles."
