Energex presents pathogen inactivation technology at American Association of Blood Banks (AABB)
We were pleased to participate in the Annual Meeting of the American Association of Blood Banks that was held in Baltimore on 10/10 - 10/13. During the meeting we announced the results of the research that we conducted on our HemaSterilizer technolgy that is designed for inactivating pathogens in red cells. That research established the ability of the HemaSterilizer to provide >6 log (99.9999%) inactivation of the virus without causing harm to the red cells.
